Interview – Dr Meryem Özlem Öztürk

During the 2025 edition of AIME Congress in Paris, we had the opportunity to speak with Dr Meryem Özlem Öztürk, a dermatologist from Turkey who has been practicing aesthetic medicine for nearly 10 years. She shared her impressions of the congress, what stood out to her during this first experience, and why she believes this event is especially valuable for physicians.
What did you enjoy about this 2025 edition of AIME Congress in Paris?
This is actually my first time here, and I wish I had attended earlier.
The atmosphere is truly wonderful, and you can learn everything you want to know about aesthetic medicine. It is a very inspiring environment to be in.
Is there something you learned here that you think you will use in your practice as soon as you return to Istanbul?
Yes, of course.
As a dermatologist, it is very valuable to hear so many experts sharing their knowledge and experience with physicians, especially with younger doctors. That is why I believe this congress is so important.
Science is everything. Without science and knowledge, we cannot do anything, and we cannot achieve good results for our patients. So it is really meaningful to be here and to keep learning new things.
Why would you recommend AIME Congress to other young doctors and colleagues?
Because there are so many physicians coming from all over the world, and it is a truly multidisciplinary congress dedicated to aesthetic medicine.
I am already looking forward to next year, for sure. I believe that anyone who wants to improve in this field should be here.
